This policy explains what information TeachLuma collects and how it's used.

Information We Collect

  • Account details you provide: name, email, school, country, and optional phone number.
  • Payment confirmation details from Stripe when you upgrade to Teacher Pro (amount, plan, and a payment reference). We do not process or store your card details — Stripe handles payment directly and securely.
  • If you pay by scanning our PromptPay QR code instead: the payment slip you upload (which usually shows your name, your bank and a partly hidden account number), the date you paid and any transaction reference you enter.
  • Basic usage information such as which resources you download, used to maintain your download history and improve the resource library.
  • Messages you send us through the contact form.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate your account, manage your membership, respond to your messages, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never stored or visible in plain text, including to our own team.

Payment Processing

Teacher Pro payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you pay through Stripe, your payment details are sent directly to Stripe — we never see or store your card number or bank details. Stripe shares back with us only what we need to activate your membership: your email, the plan and amount paid, and a payment reference.

You can also pay by scanning our PromptPay QR code, which sends the money from your bank straight to ours without going through Stripe. To confirm that payment you upload your payment slip. Slips are stored privately, can only be viewed by our admin team, and are used only to check and record your payment.

Advertising & Cookies

TeachLuma shows ads served by Google AdSense to visitors and free-tier members (never to paying members with an active subscription). Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required, a consent banner lets you choose whether to allow personalized advertising.

Analytics

TeachLuma uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which pages and resources are viewed, what visitors search for, and where people run into trouble before downloading a resource. This data is limited to usage information such as pages visited, general location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and on-site actions (like viewing a resource or clicking Download); it does not include your name, email, or other account details. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors. We have turned off Google Signals and Ads Personalization for this data, so it is not linked to advertising or combined with any Google ad profile. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Your Choices

You can update your account details at any time from your profile page, or contact us to request that your account be deleted.
