View Resource : Grade 4 ESL Quiz: Sports — 20-Mark Quick Quiz with Answer KeyA one-page, 20-point cumulative assessment covering every Daily Routines resource — morning routine definition matching, daily activities fill-in-the-blank, Present Simple grammar, a 4-photo picture-identification section, and a bonus sequencing task — with fresh wording throughout so it functions as a genuine assessment rather than a repeat of the practice worksheets.
This is the summative assessment for the whole Daily Routines topic. Every sentence and definition was written fresh for this quiz rather than copied from the practice worksheets, so a student who has only memorized specific worksheet wording (rather than the underlying vocabulary and grammar) will be genuinely tested. Part C isolates the topic's core grammar point (Present Simple "-s" agreement) as its own short section, and Part E brings back sequencing from the Daily Activities Worksheet as a light bonus rather than a heavily-weighted section, since it was already assessed indirectly through Part C.

SUPPORT: Provide the word bank for Part A as well (not included by default), or allow the Vocabulary PowerPoint's Recap slide to stay visible during Part D only.
ON-LEVEL: Completes the quiz as written, in one sitting, independently.
CHALLENGE: For any 2 items in Part B or C, write one additional original sentence using the same word/grammar form correctly, in addition to completing the Part E bonus.
This resource IS the assessment. Score using the answer key's Scoring Summary table (Part A: /6, Part B: /6, Part C: /4, Part D: /4, Total: /20, Bonus Part E: /2).
Because this quiz deliberately avoids reusing exact worksheet sentences, a big score gap between a student's worksheet performance and their quiz performance is meaningful — it usually means the student was pattern-matching familiar sentences rather than truly knowing the vocabulary or grammar rule, and is worth a quick one-on-one follow-up.
