Overview

How to Use This Resource

Keep this rubric on a clipboard during the All About Me lesson (see the matching Lesson Plan) and while students complete the This Is Me and My Family worksheets. Jot down a level (M / D / N) for each criterion as you observe it — you don't need to assess every student on every criterion in one sitting. Use the descriptions in each level's column as the standard for what you're listening and looking for, and refer to "Interpreting the Levels" if you're unsure which level a response fits.
