Unit 2 Review Worksheet — School Life & Learning Skills
About This Resource
A four-part cumulative review mixing vocabulary recall, grammar practice, subject/room/equipment matching, and question formation, designed to prepare students for the unit quiz.
Overview
This worksheet deliberately mixes content from across the entire unit rather than isolating one skill per section, mirroring the mixed format students will see on the Quiz (Resource 10). Part A recalls vocabulary across subjects, facilities, and schedule words, Part B mixes all four grammar points from Resource 2 into single-sentence items, Part C tests the connections between subjects, rooms, and equipment, and Part D requires writing full questions from given answers.

Student Task
- Use at the start of Lesson 5, immediately before the Quiz (Resource 10), as described in the Lesson Plan (Resource 11). Have students complete it individually, then review answers as a class and address common errors before moving to the quiz.
Classroom Use
- Turn class review of this worksheet into a quick relay: divide the class into teams, and for each item, one team member must give the answer aloud within five seconds or pass to a teammate — a fast-paced way to review 24 items without it feeling repetitive.
Differentiation
Support: Allow Support students to use their completed Vocabulary and Grammar Worksheets (Resources 3 and 4) as an open reference during this review, but not during the quiz that follows.
On-Level: Complete all four parts independently within the allotted time.
Challenge: For Part D, require Challenge students to write a second, different question for each given answer.
Answer Key & Assessment
Score all four parts against the answer key (24 items total: 8 + 8 + 5 + 3). Treat this as a formative check — use results to decide whether any grammar point needs a brief re-teach before the quiz, rather than as a graded assignment.
Learning Objectives
- Recall and correctly use at least 6 of 8 vocabulary items spanning subjects, facilities, and schedule words.
- Correctly complete at least 6 of 8 mixed grammar items covering present simple, object pronouns, frequency adverbs, and Do/Does questions.
- Correctly complete at least 4 of 5 subject/room/equipment matching items.
- Write a grammatically correct question for at least 2 of 3 given answers.
Teacher Tips
Because Part B deliberately mixes all four grammar points without labeling which rule applies to each sentence, have students briefly identify (aloud or in the margin) which grammar point each item is testing before answering — this mirrors the unlabeled mixed format of the quiz and builds the skill of recognizing which rule applies without a heading to guide them.
