Grade 2 Place Value Review Quiz

About This Resource

A one-page, 22-point cumulative assessment covering every Place Value resource — matching numbers to their hundreds/tens/ones breakdown, expanded/standard form conversion, comparing numbers, a 4-diagram picture-identification section, and a bonus digit challenge — with fresh numbers throughout so it functions as a genuine assessment rather than a repeat of the practice worksheets.

Overview

This is the summative assessment for the whole Place Value to 1,000 topic. Every number and block diagram was chosen fresh for this quiz rather than reused from the practice worksheets, so a student who has only memorized specific worksheet numbers (rather than the underlying place value skill) will be genuinely tested. Part A deliberately includes 800 (a round hundred) and 999 (maximum digits) as matching options; Part C was expanded to 6 items during QC to properly fill the page, giving broader coverage of the comparison skill than a minimal 4-item version would.
