Overview

Each of the five criteria — Vocabulary Use, Sentence Structure, Prepositions of Place, Communication & Participation, and Effort & Completion — is described at three levels (Meets Expectations, Developing, Needs Support) using language specific to this topic, not generic filler. A scoring summary table and guidance on interpreting combined results (for example, what it means when a student knows the vocabulary but struggles with prepositions) help the teacher turn the rubric into next steps for teaching, not just a score.
