Lesson Procedure

Read through the full 5-day sequence before Day 1 so materials are ready ahead of time (see the Print & Prep Checklist). Each day names exactly which PowerPoint slides to present and which worksheet sections to assign as guided vs. independent practice, so a substitute or a first-year teacher could follow it without additional planning. The Common Trouble Spots table is worth reviewing before Days 1, 3, and 4 specifically, since that's when each listed misconception tends to surface.
